Inspired by a sense of heritage and place
“The object isn't to make art, it's to be in that wonderful state which makes art inevitable.”
Robert Henri
Weaving together landscapes and human stories …
As an artist, I weave together landscapes and human stories rooted in my London Irish heritage, my career in social work, and my journey of personal resilience.
Through oil, watercolor and mixed media I explore themes of well-being, balance and the deep connection between nature and humanity.
I offer my audience a space for reflection and connection—inviting them to see the beauty in shared stories, to celebrate resilience, and to find strength in our bond with the natural world and each other.
I’m Geraldine
An Exeter based Artist, inspired by a sense of place, painting in Devon, Cornwall, the Hebrides, West of Ireland & the rest of the world on occasions.
I am interested in transformation through art practice, trusting the process, taking risks, being open to exploring, not knowing where it is going or what the outcome will be. I am continually evolving my art practice, trying new things, experiences and places.
For me the Art is about evolving the work and not continually repeating the same - taking risks and experimenting.
An expedition of adventure with creativity - being present in creative moments, doing what I enjoy and losing myself in the process.
